It’s going to be one of those miserable weeks for the Carter family next week and, to be honest, with Christmas around the corner, we should be used to it by now! Will Linda ever catch a break during the festive season? Because, just like always, this year looks set to bring nothing but disaster!

And who could bring disaster to Walford more than our favourite resident Bad Girl Janine Carter?

Next week, Linda is left reeling after she overs a shocking phone call connected to Lee. Searching for answers, she finds herself turning to the last person most people would trust with sensitive information – Janine! After hearing what she has to say, Linda takes her concerns to Max and the pair resolve to face the situation together. However, as Max weighs up his next move, he may be about to make a decision he’d rather not live with.

Meanwhile, Linda tries to bring Lee, Nancy and Johnny together, only for all three to disappear when she needs them most. After finding Nancy, Linda shares an emotional conversation with her daughter, before later discovering Lee drowning his worries in Harry’s Barn. As mother and son talk honestly about the future, neither realises that Nancy is suddenly facing a crisis of her own as her waters break!

Meanwhile, Ash is struggling to come to terms with the collapse of her marriage, but events soon take a back seat to Suki‘s latest battle involving young Ria. As Eve encourages Ash to join an important meeting, tensions threaten to spill over when Ria’s biological mother Harleen witnesses an argument between Suki and her daughter.

However, with another setback looming, Sharon urges Suki not to give up the fight. But pretty soon, the tension grows further – this time, between Suki and Eve…

Finding a moment alone proves easier said than done for Lauren and Mark. But when the pair finally get some time together, Lauren is left questioning whether their bond has become something more than friendship…

Finally, still grieving the loss of Zoe, Kat takes on the emotional challenge of sorting through her daughter’s belongings and confronting the memories she left behind. Will this help her find closure – or give her new clues to help her find her revenge?

Until next time, wrap up warm and keep safe,

Regards,

The Curator
