Ned Hawkins arrives with his family and likes to think of himself as the perfect family man: calm, successful, well-dressed. He’s used to being at the top, but now the family have to start all over again, somewhere new and unknown.

Although, it seems that the Square or some of its residents aren’t as completely unknown as it appears: he’s a long lost friend of Alfie Moon’s and there’s definitely some tension between him and sister-in-law Nicola. Confident but guarded, is Ned truly all he seems?
