Hello Walfordians! Enjoying the sunshine? We know we are!
And as the sun shines down on Walford, next week looks to be another dramatic watch, as storylines heat up across the square. Will George finally face his adoptive father? Can Linda and Johnny patch things up? Let’s dive in!

George is a busy man this week, trying to keep a lid on his feelings as friends and family prepare for a welcome home party for baby Ivy. But when Nicola checks George’s phone and discovers several missed calls, she panics, fearing they’re from the hospital.
The calls are actually from Eddie Knight, but they might be just as bad as hearing from the hospital: Eddie is dying. He may have plenty to be sorry for, but are he and George really going to reconcile? When George later finds out the truth, he visits his estranged father and is shocked by how frail and weak he looks.

Nicola is left in shock this week when she is looking over the accounts for Harry’s Barn. Let’s hope that she can get it sorted, because as all fans know, money troubles always bring plenty of drama. Speaking of money, Linda finds out that Johnny is also struggling. After a heart-to-heart with Grant, she decides that she’s going to sell her share of Fox & Hair to give Johnny the cash. In typical Johnny fashion, however, he doesn’t seem very appreciative, and this act may only drive a deeper wedge between mother and son.

Elsewhere, things continue to get heated as election time comes. Ian turns down Bea’s offer to launch a smear campaign against Elaine, only to later change his mind after a disastrous debate. Ian soon regrets it when the video gains traction online, but it may be too late to salvage this one…

Meanwhile, back at the Queen Vic, regular punters are starting to abandon their local, and Kat and Alfie are left incredibly annoyed. But where are the punters going? Let’s hope they can fix it and get everyone back into the pub for a pint!

There’s plenty more to come this week, as an emotional Kat visit Sam and Phil to try and find a way to support a grieving Julie, Sam is surprised to find a snoozing Denise in the salon, and Max and Cindy think about taking the next step in their relationship…
And it’s only April… sounds like it’s going to be a very busy summer down Walford way!
Kind Regards,
