Josh Goodwin

Adopted as a baby, Josh Goodwin had no idea where he was really from until he wanted to – content to stay with his family. In fact, it was his mum Sandra that came to Walford first, seeking information about his twin sister Jasmine Fisher, on remand awaiting trial for the murder of their father Anthony Trueman!

Josh had spent years looking for his sister, having lost contact following their adopted father’s death, but Jasmine couldn’t return his calls from a locked cell. So, using his initiative – and following his mum where he shouldn’t – Josh was about to open a whole can of history from two of the biggest families Walford had ever seen!

He made an instant connection with the Trueman clan, and also with Oscar Branning. The two boys seemed perfect for one another, but the fact that Oscar was in love with Josh’s twin sister put the kibosh on their romance. Jasmine was acquitted of Anthony’s murder and Josh, wanting to know his family more, watched as Sandra moved to South End and left him Walford, living with the Truemans.
