EDITORIAL, Tuesday 10th June 2025
All these returns means a lot of ‘Hello’s’, but, inevitably, when one door closes, another opens, and we’re saying goodbye to Bobby Brazier after nearly four years as Freddie Slater!
So, how will Freddie leave the Square? We’re already hearing rumours of more potential returns: could his parents, evil Graham and long-gone Slater Little Mo be involved? It would be so much fun to see Mo back where she belongs – right next to sister Kat! Dare we dream?
Last week, of course, the British Soap Awards 2025 took place, and our favourite soap took home 8 awards on the night including the coveted Best Soap! Congrats to the team!
Next week we also have more trouble for Kat as Alfie has to rush off to Australia to help brother Spencer – just as Joel is arrested for assault? But how is her Tommy involved? And will the mixed up youth tell his mum the truth about Joel’s behaviour? And just how will Ross and Vicki react to Joel’s newest crime? All these questions!
Also next week, Elaine is feeling rather down after the events of tonight’s episode. And she’s being increasing reckless… as Linda despairs, can Phil help get everything on track? Or is the Mitchell hard man going to regret crossing the Vic’s Leading Lady?

Monday 16th June 2025

Jean struggles as she sees the press coverage of Kat, Alfie and Harvey’s new wedding business. The article suggests that Kathy is ‘Mrs Monroe’. Alfie is forced to step in when Jean considers taking revenge by sabotaging the business.
Later, Alfie faces another problem when Stacey calls him. What does she tell him?
Meanwhile, Joel asks Tommy to film him on the Tube. Tommy is unaware of what his friend has planned, so he’s horrified when he witnesses Joel pretending to fall on fellow passenger Isla, who he touches inappropriately.
When they arrive at the destination station, Isla reports Joel and he’s apprehended. Ross and Vicky are shocked to see Joel in trouble.
Tuesday 17th June 2025

Ross demands answers, while Vicki goes to comfort Isla. Vicki is supportive over Isla’s decision to report Joel, hoping that it’ll deter him from doing anything like this again. She even gives Isla her number in case she needs anything.
Joel lies to his family about what happened, and Vicki tries to support Ross as he fears for his son’s future. Vicki soon backtracks on her original stance, offering Isla money to drop her complaint and promising to make Joel realise that what he did was wrong.
At the same time, Kat worries about Joel’s bad influence on Tommy but struggles to reach Alfie so they can talk about it.
Meanwhile, Phil worries that Linda isn’t coping now that she has to do most of the work at The Vic.

Kat doesn’t feel any better after her conversation with Alfie. She starts to fear that Alfie isn’t being entirely honest with her – is she right?
Meanwhile, Elaine drinks with Kim, Mo, Priya, Denise, Honey and Yolande at The Vic. She shocks Linda by announcing that prosecco is on the house all night.
Phil notices how much Linda is struggling with overseeing the bar by herself, so he steps in to help out.
A drunken Elaine offers to book Priya a singles’ cruise and casually suggests that Priya can pay her back later. Linda is stunned when £5,000 disappears from the business account and Elaine seems dismissive.
Elsewhere, Ross and Vicki are united.

Kat tries to talk to Alfie about her fears for Tommy. Kat is unhappy when Alfie announces that he needs to visit Spencer in Australia, as he’s in turmoil.
Meanwhile, Tommy tries to avoid Joel. He’s shocked when Vicki threatens to implicate him in what happened to Isla if he doesn’t keep quiet.
Elsewhere, Elaine refuses to engage with Linda over last night as she wakes up with a hangover. Phil continues to worry about how much pressure Linda is under, so he rebukes Elaine for treating her daughter so carelessly. Elaine tries to talk to Linda, who downplays everything.
