Before we begin our usual dose of Walford gossip his week, it was announced over the weekend that Linda Carter will be leaving the Square after 13 years, with Kellie Bright bowing out early next year. Now, those Mick rumours seem to make more sense…
Romance is in the air next week — or at least, the Walford version of romance, which usually involves lies, panic, guilt, and someone waking up in the wrong bed. And as ever, Max Branning is right in the middle of it.
Max tries to do a good deed by offering to look after Annie so Linda can enjoy her date with Clive. Old feelings flicker between them, but they keep things polite. Unfortunately, Max’s good intentions don’t last long. Later that night, he arranges a secret meet‑up with Priya at her flat… and wakes the next morning in full panic mode, having overslept and missed multiple calls from Cindy.
He runs into Cindy in the café and spins a story about running late. Cindy buys it — for now — and even asks Priya to help with last‑minute party prep, blissfully unaware of the affair simmering beneath her nose.

Then, Priya’s conscience kicks in. The affair weighs heavily, especially as Cindy trusts her. Meanwhile, Kim celebrates her hen night in her own unique way — by visiting Denise in hospital. Touched by her sister’s gesture, Kim returns to the Square and is coaxed into joining Cindy’s celebrations.

Ravi, meanwhile, is determined to prove that true love can run smooth. He seeks advice from Zack about his feelings for Priya, and inspired, decides on a grand romantic gesture. Priya, meanwhile, confronts Max at his flat, then heads straight to the club — Ravi’s words echoing in her mind.
In the middle of all this chaos, Ravi makes his move. With emotions high and secrets swirling, he proposes to Priya — a moment of hope in a week full of turmoil.

Now, if you’ve been worried about the lingering looks Craig keeps on throwing out at Amy, you aren’t the only one! Craig’s world shifts next week when he is suspended from public‑facing duties after a serious complaint is made against him. Amy, overwhelmed after a run‑in with Joel, confides in Craig, who promises to support her… But are they getting too close for comfort?
