It’s a big week next week on Albert Square as Jasmine Fisher‘s trial begins! As the teen prepares to say her piece in court, she’s hoping telling her truth will be enough… But as the week goes on, and the Walford residents watch, the trial unfolds with several twists and turns!
At the start of the week, Kat is stunned when she’s asked to give a character reference for her granddaughter! The Moon strong woman is not enthusiastic – until Zoe confides in her that she’s terrified of losing Josh as well, now that she’s found him! Seeking more info, Kat tracks down Sandra who shares some news that floors the Square stalwart!
When Zoe and the Slaters return home later in the week, will it be with the twins reunited – or will Jasmine be found guilty of murdering her own father?

Elsewhere next week, Penny dreams up a desperate plan to throw Nicola Mitchell off the scent of her pregnancy! This week, Penny realised that Harry Mitchell is more than likely the baby daddy! With Nicola distracted by baby Ivy, Penny thought she was safe, but this week comes up with a fake DNA test – just to keep her deadly secret!
However, when she sees Harry with his new little sister, her heart melts. Is Penny reconsidering her plans?

Also next week, Nicola and George continue to struggle with baby Ivy, born prematurely last week and in need of special care. This week, George has the opportunity to touch his little girl, but declines, wanting mum to have the first cuddle!
But is Nicola ready? And how will she respond when George innocently tells her that he loves her..?

Also, Ross gets some news this week – not only has he found out that Vicki slept with someone else when they were split, he also gets some news from the locked-up Joel. What has his son done now, or is there an even more worrying reason for the letter?
And Bea has her eye on a single Walford fella… Watch out, Ian!
Until next time…

Ritchie puts pressure on Kat to give Jasmine a character statement in court. Kat initially refuses, but changes her mind when Zoe frets that Josh will leave Walford if Jasmine is found guilty. Before long, the pressure on Kat to defend Jasmine starts to take its toll – could this tear her and Zoe apart?
At the same time, Josh visits Jasmine in jail to hear the truth in her own words.
Meanwhile, Nicola is still in isolation and struggles with being unable to see her baby daughter Ivy. George declines a chance to have skin-to-skin contact with his daughter, believing that Nicola should be first. Later, Nicola harshly blames George for the situation, accusing him of being too distracted by the Knight Fusion launch.
Elsewhere, Ross, Harvey and Zack plan to take the keys to Martin’s shed from Jean and turn the place into a man cave.

Jasmine’s trial begins, but the Trueman and Slater families are still at odds over the situation. Sandra informs Denise, Yolande, Chelsea and Kim that her and Josh will be moving to Southend, but haven’t told Jasmine and Zoe yet.
Ahead of giving her statement, Kat speaks to Sandra to hear details of Jasmine’s upbringing. After Patrick gives a character statement, Kat is next in line. What will she say?
Meanwhile, Nicola is allowed to hold Ivy at last. George declares his love for Nicola, but is unsettled when she doesn’t say it back.
Elsewhere, Ross confides in the other guys about how he’s paranoid about Vicki’s behaviour, failing to realise that Zack is the last person he should be opening up to. Later, Ross shares some news over Joel’s sentencing.
Also today, Penny asks Oscar to help her amid her baby predicament.
