Joanne was hired by Peggy to look after her precious granddaughter Louise. She arrived out of the blue and immediately went to work, leaving Lisa feeling like a spare part in her own child’s life. 
 
Of course, Joanne was a bunny boiler waiting to happen. When she tried to seduce Phil, he rejected her, sending her flummoxed into the arms of Garry Hobbs. Finally, smarting after Phil’s harsh words, Joanne took advantage of his absence – and sold the Mitchell house from under his nose before she scuppered into the night!
