Preeti Choraria was the beauty therapist with a knack for getting into all sorts of mischief in Walford. She started off at La Jolie Madame, but when Tanya Branning’s business hit a rough patch, Tanya’s husband Max suggested poaching Preeti for Booty, thanks to her loyal clientele. Preeti’s charm wasn’t just for her clients, though. She had a one-night stand with Sean Slater while his fiancée Ruby Allen was away in Venice. This led to a slap from Sean’s sister Stacey, but they eventually patched things up and became friends.

Preeti’s social life was just as eventful as her professional one. At Tanya’s birthday party, she tried to impress Mickey Miller by dressing up in high heels and enhancing her assets with some padding. Unfortunately, she took a tumble and Mickey’s girlfriend, Li Chong, exposed her secret to the whole pub. Preeti was mortified and ran back to Chelsea Fox’s house. On her birthday, Chelsea and Li threw an Ann Summers-style party at Stacey’s place. Bradley Branning asked her out after Deano Wicks failed to charm her, but their relationship ended when Bradley realized he still had feelings for Stacey.

Preeti’s love life was a rollercoaster. She went on a date with salesman Warren Stamp, but it ended badly when he attacked her. She also tried to get close to Mickey by teaching him the finer points of massage, but this only made Li jealous. Li got her revenge by stepping on Preeti’s toe during a party at Shirley Carter’s flat. Preeti continued to have feelings for Mickey, even helping him search for Gus Smith’s kidnapped dog, Wellard. However, Mickey remained oblivious to her affections and saw her as just a good friend.

Preeti’s professional life took a hit when she forgot to lock up the salon one night, leading to a break-in. Tanya fired her but later apologized and offered her the position of manager. Preeti, however, decided it was time to move on. As she left the Square, she bumped into a mystery man who chatted her up, and she walked away with him, leaving her past behind.
