Wedding preparations are in full swing at the Queen Vic next week, but the bride-to-be is seriously stressing over how they’re going to afford the honeymoon. Vicki’s looking at selling her dad’s ring to fund it, though Kathy warns her she’ll deeply regret parting with it.

Meanwhile, Zack is making things incredibly awkward. After receiving some bad news, he tries to gift Vicki a bracelet as a symbol of his lingering feelings. Worse yet, he completely butchers the classic wedding rhyme, adding: “something from the man you cheated on your fiancé with.” Yikes. Vicki rejects the gift, prompting a sulky Zack to turn his attention to Ross, subtly hinting that Vicki has strayed again.

When the big morning arrives, Ross is radio-silent, and Zack is still busy sowing seeds of doubt in everyone’s minds. To make matters worse, a major mix-up with the wedding car forces Vicki to take the tube! As she fails to show up on time, a nervous Ross starts putting two and two together. When she finally walks through the door, Ross demands to know: was Zack the man she cheated with?

The drama doesn’t stop at the altar. Max follows his gut after a new car delivery and tries the mystery keys he found in the door of No. 55. He’s immediately intercepted by the Mitchell siblings, who swear he’s got it all wrong.

But Max and Cindy aren’t buying it. Convinced that Mark is up to no good, they decide to take their suspicions public. Enter Grant, who fiercely defends his son, insisting Mark is completely innocent. Cindy fires back, accusing Grant of lying to protect his boy, and tells both him and Grant to pack their bags and get out of Walford. Taking matters into his own hands, Max calls the cops – but Lauren spots the officers and tips off the Mitchells. The walls are closing in!

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Denise receives a worrying phone call from the hospital requesting she come in for a bone marrow test. Terrified and trying to process what it all means, she braves the appointment alone. Sadly, her worst fears are realized when the doctors deliver a devastating diagnosis: Denise has blood cancer. This is bound to be an emotional powerhouse of a storyline.

Also next week, Ravi tries to reach out to Priya via a letter, but she completely misses it. Imagine her shock when she finds him waiting at home! And Ian and Elaine share a cosy drink in the Vic… will they talk about their unexpected kiss..?

Whew! All this and Gray Atkins is returning for a short stint soon! What could that guy possibly want, and is it connected to Walford’s Night Where Everything Changes?

Until next time…
