Poor Nicola, eh? We know she can be a poisonous ball of twisted anger sometimes, but when it comes to her kids she’ll do anything. Watching her struggle to even hold her baby girl was heart-breaking, and Laura Doddington deserves every single sentence of praise she’s getting.

Another standout this week was Josh, as we saw a rare emotional side when he confronted long‑lost twin Jasmine — and confronted the question of whether she meant to kill their father. But it was the look of raw devastation as she walked away that ensured Joshua Vaughan will be remembered when the next Soap Awards roll around.

Next week, Vicki and Ross are gearing up for their stag and hen dos — and of course, this being Walford, we can hardly expect things to go smoothly. With Joel‘s sentencing due, Vicki is worried about his eventual release. She’s delighted when Ross arranges an alternative to coming back to Walford, and happily, the marriage can now go ahead.

Of course there’s still her one night stand with Zack to worry about. Even though nothing is currently happening, this week a passionate moment is caught on a camera – and soon used to blackmail Vicki! Eventually, she decides to come clean to Ross about her feelings for Zack! Is there a way forward for the pair?

Meanwhile, things are never simple for the Panesar family, and next week is no different. Still struggling to break through to a traumatised Ravi, Priya lets slip to Suki what’s really been going on.

When Nugget discovers that someone has posted a video of him having a seizure online, he’s horrified — and when he turns to his dad for support, Ravi is nowhere to be found. Ravi’s even less impressed to learn that Suki now knows the state of his mental health.

But Suki steps up, offering to pay for a private counsellor so her stepson can finally get the help he desperately needs. The question is: will Ravi swallow his pride, accept the support, and open up to the closest thing he’s ever had to a mum?

Meanwhile, things are never simple between Max and Lauren, are they? Despite him nearly ousting her from the car lot and the ongoing struggle to raise money for little Jimmy’s schooling, Lauren is determined to prove she’s not just her dad’s equal in the business, but his better. To make things interesting, a challenge is issued: if Lauren can sell £80,000 worth of cars in a week, Max will give her his half of the business! But how much more rowing can this fragile truce take? And even if Lauren does win, will Max keep his word?

Now then… where did we leave that last egg? Hmm…

Until next time…
