Tuesday 16th September 2025
Howdy folks! As the sun goes away and the cold Autumn winds start to blow over the UK, there’s lots going on in Walford. But as that chill comes through your window, rattling at your doors, here’s something to smile about…
Sharon Watts is home next week, baby! The Queen of Walford back, where she belongs!
.Of course, while Sharon’s been helping Michelle in Australia, all sorts has been happening at home! She has no idea about Joel‘s incel behaviour yet or Ross and sister Vicki‘s struggles with their son! She also has no idea, unless someone’s told her, that Barney Mitchell, her ex Teddy‘s son, is actually her nephew! And to top it all off, Zoe Slater is running around Walford – a haunting reminder of her awful past!
Elsewhere, in Walford, a few new faces are charming some local lads! Oscar may be in with the lovely Jasmine, while Peter is smitten with stranger Demi. But will he get caught out – well, if Penny‘s police skills are anything like her father’s, maybe not – and if he is, imagine Lauren‘s revenge…
And Stacey, fed up of life in Walford (and who can blame her really?) makes plans to jet off and join brother Sean in South America. Thrilled Stacey is almost packing her bags – but, spare a thought for poor Jean, who’s mortified that no one’s discussed it with her!
Whew! Talk about drama! And there’s lots more to come!
And while we’re here, congratulations to the cast and crew for their win at the National Television Awards last week, where they took home the trophy for Best Serial Drama for the first year since 2023! Much deserved!
And of course, a special mention to the always incredible Steve McFadden, who picked up the gong for Best Dramatic Performance in a Serial Drama! Always a master at his craft, and a legend on set, it’s much deserved! Congrats Mr. McFadden!

The Slaters remain in shock after what happened last night. Zoe tries to defend herself to Kat, Alfie and Stacey, but sparks further suspicion with her evasive behaviour surrounding her past.
When Sharon arrives back in Walford, she’s shocked to see Zoe and wastes no time before confronting her. However, after time to think, Sharon calls a truce with Zoe.
Meanwhile, Cindy immediately sparks tension as she moves in with Peter and Lauren at No.25. Peter befriends one of the mums, Demi, at Jimmy’s sensory class. However, there could be trouble when it’s clear that Demi fancies Peter.
Elsewhere, Mo is fired after an accident at The Albert.
Also today, Kim accidentally destroys her camera equipment and Howie worries about the financial implications.

Sharon holds out an olive branch to Phil by asking him to look after Albie that evening. She then tries to address Vicki’s debt, but Vicki is overwhelmed by the ongoing dramas involving Joel and storms out.
When Vicki bumps into Zoe outside, the two ladies fight on the Square. Zack and Anthony step in to break things up, but Zack gets hit. Sharon later confronts Zoe over what happened, but Zoe hits back with a shocking admission.
Meanwhile, Cindy refuses to give newcomer Jasmine a job at The Albert, but soon changes her mind after spotting Jasmine impressively take matters into her own hands.
Elsewhere, Howie gets himself a new job delivering parcels.
Also today, Peter goes for a drink with Demi, despite Ian warning that it’s a bad idea. Peter returns home full of new-found energy as he seduces Lauren, but Penny has spotted his encounter with Demi.

Sharon refuses to believe what Zoe has told her and loses her temper. Taking control, Kat throws Sharon and Vicki out of The Vic.
Ian takes Sharon back to his place for a heart-to-heart with Kathy. Ian tries to convince Sharon that Zoe must be lying, but what’s really going on?
Kat and Alfie also question Zoe on her claims – what will she tell them?
Meanwhile, Stacey informs Lily that Sean has invited them to live with him in Brazil. Lily suggests that it might be a good idea to accept.
Elsewhere, Lauren finds out about Peter’s mystery woman when she spots a flirty message on his phone. When Lauren seems unfazed by her rival, Peter starts to question their relationship.
Also today, Cindy is enjoying working with Jasmine, but Elaine isn’t so enthusiastic. Oscar tries to charm Jasmine, but Cindy advises her to stay away from him.

Lily is delighted when Stacey reveals that she’s booked their flights to Brazil. Jean tries to cover her hurt when she finds out what’s going on.
Later, Stacey and Lily arrange to meet up with Ricky to share their news. Lily panics when Jack arrives and Stacey is a no-show, which forces Lily to announce her planned move on her own.
At the same time, Zoe starts to warm to Kat, who seeks help from Stacey to plant a memorial for Zoe’s daughter in the Square gardens.
Meanwhile, Penny arranges for Lauren and Demi to meet up for coffee. Before long, the trio start to bond – at Peter’s expense. When Lauren tells Peter that she wants more excitement in their relationship, he shares a shocking plan with Ian and Kathy.
Elsewhere, Oscar steals Jasmine an outfit from the market as he tries to convince her to go out on a date with him. Cindy once again warns Jasmine that she should keep her distance from Oscar.
