EDITORIAL, Tuesday 6th June 2025
As Peter and Lauren crumble in front of us, we’ve seen a lot of chat on the old social media about whether Lauren should be with Peter Beale or not – they’re certainly not wasting anytime disintegrating, are they? On top of that, it looks like more family drama is coming their way, as newcomer Pierre Moullier has been spotted on location with Jacqueline Jossa, Thomas Law and Adam Woodyatt – and it’s rumoured he’s playing the all grown-up version of Oscar Branning! Oscar was last seen as a child, leaving with mum Tanya eight years ago! And just like his father, he seems to be in trouble!
So, on last count that was Max, Ben and now Oscar returning to the show – according to the media. And what’s this on the front pages, weekend just gone? Could it be?
Long time readers will remember our very first post from last year, with my favourite characters that I have always wanted home…
Well, according to the Tabloids, Michelle Ryan has been coaxed back to reprise her role as Zoe Slater later this year! Unsure who Zoe is, or need a refresher? Check out her EastEnders Epitome article here.
We have all the spoilers for next week below, including the return of an unlikely ally for Elaine as some secrets about Christmas Night come to light! And is it going to be third time lucky for Alfie and Kat? You’ve seen her face on our cover – does that look like a happy Slater to you? Alfie better learn how to duck again, quickly!
And there’s a slight change to the schedule as well, with no episode on Monday 9th June – there’s an extra one on Friday 13th instead… That sounds ominous, doesn’t it..?

Elaine remains unhappy over George’s recent decision to help Cindy at The Albert. Things get worse when Junior reveals that George went to see Sabrina (Junior’s mother) on Christmas night. George explains that Sabrina kissed him but he rejected her.
Elaine decides that it’s time to kick George out – and it’s not long before Cindy offers him a shoulder to cry on. When Elaine goes to find George, she’s stunned to find him hugging Cindy on The Albert’s balcony.
Meanwhile, Kim faces problems while planning Kat and Alfie’s wedding. Kat remains under the wrong impression over the explicit video on Alfie’s laptop. She confides in Jean that she fears Alfie has turned to adult entertainment as things have been quiet for them in the bedroom since his cancer treatment.
Elsewhere, Amy tells Vicki that Joel shamed Avani for sleeping with him, leading to abusive messages from their peers.
Also today, Patrick makes excuses to avoid giving Yolande a massage.

Elaine feels even worse when Felix tells her that George and Cindy left The Albert together, looking cosy. Elaine makes a call for someone to come and join her at the bar. While Elaine is waiting, a punter called Stephen then chats her up.
Drew Peacock appears and sends Stephen away, before giving Elaine a pep talk. Elaine listens to Drew’s advice, then makes a shocking decision.
Meanwhile, Kat and Alfie finally have an honest conversation about their recent issues. When the explicit video is brought up, the couple finally figure out that Tommy was the one who watched it.
Vicki and Ross discuss the troubling situation with Joel, but they hope that his friendship with Tommy will be a positive influence.
Elsewhere, Yolande confides in Denise about how she fears her relationship with Patrick will never be the same.
Thursday 12th June 2025

Kat and Alfie’s wedding day arrives, but the atmosphere isn’t entirely joyful considering their concerns over Tommy. Alfie promises that he’ll talk to Tommy, but a series of mishaps distract him.
Later, Alfie is forced to admit that he’s also messed up several of the last-minute wedding tasks. This leaves Kat with second thoughts and she announces that the wedding is off.
Meanwhile, Denise tries to support Yolande and Patrick through their problems.
Elsewhere, Joel asks Tommy to come over to his place after the wedding.

Alfie is left devastated and angry over Kat’s decision and rushes out of the pub.
Elaine, Yolande and Kat unite as they discuss their troubled love lives. Elaine gives the other two women some pause for thought.
Alfie gets his own pep talk from an unlikely source as he wonders whether his relationship with Kat will survive this latest challenge.
Kat and Alfie meet to talk things through once more – could the wedding go ahead after all?
Meanwhile, Patrick tries to win over Yolande with a grand gesture.
Elsewhere, Joel shows Tommy a video, made by an influencer who makes derogatory remarks about women.
