There’s always a quiet one in every family, one who shies away from the spotlight, away from the drama and prefers to live in their own little world, and whether it’s his autism dictating his decisions or whether he wants to remain out of the way, Barney seems to be perfectly content to let the world go by with his head in a book.

This, of course, means he’s naturally more observant than most about the world around him, and so far he’s the only one to discover teenager Avani’s romance with an older man.
