Well… That was all a bit mad, wasn’t it?

We’re coming to the end of the really strange limbo week between Christmas and New Year, conducting end-of-year reviews, updating profiles and giving the place a bit of a spruce up and what happens in Walford?

All Hell breaks loose, that’s what!

So, to recap: we have Zoe Slater, currently in a cell after being charged with the murder of her ex-lover (and possible father of her children) Anthony Trueman – who already seemed to be getting dangerously obsessed with her – only she can’t remember what happened, since he’d throttled her unconscious at the time!

So, if Zoe didn’t kill Anthony, then who did?

Ding-ding! Suspect No.1, of course, has to be the recently returned Chrissie Watts. The vixen returned to Walford in secret on Christmas Eve, alongside her accomplice Jasmine Fisher, who we now know for a fact is Zoe’s daughter – who she thought was dead!

Chrissie does have form with killing people, but did she really make it into the Vic undetected? She was on the Square at the time, but is even Chrissie that stupid? Surely she would have had someone do it for her… Someone like innocent, brain-washed Jasmine, perhaps?

And then there’s Cindy and Max, who hooked up Christmas Night without exchanging names or phone numbers – but there was clearly chemistry and a charge between the two…

Wonder how much charge there’ll be at the Christening tonight?

Onto next week now, and there’s some much-deserved nastiness coming the way of Ravi Gulati, who’s walking around scot-free while poor Teddy is in prison for murder! This week, slightly peeved by the miscarriage of justice, Harry and Nicola take revenge on Ravi by spiking his drink in the bar. But when Ravi starts hallucinating, his trip has disastrous consequences – and not just for himself!

Elsewhere next week, we meet Ronni Ancora as Linda‘s old school mate Bea. Linda takes Honey to her high school reunion – with Honey posing as her old friend Bea. Of course, while Linda herself seems to have pleasant memories of her school experience, it seems Bea remembers things quite differently – as Linda finds when she introduces Honey to the person she’s posing as!

Okay, we’ll be back next week – before the Beale/Branning family kill each other – and by then we’ll have taken a glimpse into the future. Look out for Thursday people – it’s a doozy!

Oh, and our full review of The Year Was… 2025 can be found on your right! Happy New Year!

Regards,

The Curator
