Hang the bunting up, it’s Carnival time! It’s the height of summer on Albert Square – and Walford is about to get much hotter!
Next week, Patrick and Yolande prepare to tie the knot – except Patrick’s changed his mind! With Denise and Kim hoping for the best, Yolande decides to go ahead and hope that Patrick turns up at the altar!
Meanwhile, Kat, still desperately worried about son Tommy, receives a message to meet. But when she does, Kat’s in for a big surprise as she comes face-to-face with errant daughter Zoe instead!
It’s been 20 years since these two graced the Square at the same time, and this reunion is going to be incredible! With episodes written by EastEnders legend Simon Ashdown, we’re about to find out what Zoe’s been up to – and trust us, it’s a doozy!
And finally, if that wasn’t enough drama, Okie‘s gun is in someone’s hands. Ravi is desperate to find the weapon before it’s too late – and later, whilst the wedding revellers are either toasting the happy couple or drowning their sorrows, a shot rings out and someone is rushed to hospital, life on the line…
So, the usual Summer for the average Walfordian really, isn’t it? Business as usual!
But we can guarantee one thing: people will be talking about this week for some time!
And keep your eye on September 17th… Eagle-eyed fans may have spotted what we’re on about…

Kat continues her efforts to find Tommy, but she’s unaware that he went off to find Zoe. In the end, she receives a message from her son, confirming that he’s outside.
Kat rushes out to be reunited with Tommy, but she’s shocked to her core when she sees that Zoe has returned to Albert Square.
Meanwhile, it’s the day of Patrick’s wedding to Yolande but he’s still adamant that he’s not going through with the ceremony. Kim and Denise persist with putting the plans in place for the big day.
Later, there’s relief all round when Patrick and Yolande arrive and the wedding goes ahead.
Elsewhere, Oscar shows Jack the gun he found.

Kat is desperate to speak to Zoe now that they’re face-to-face again.
She soon realises that Zoe is very different to the girl who left Walford, so this reunion will be far from smooth sailing.
Meanwhile, Ravi overhears Oscar begging Jack to help him get rid of the gun. Ravi wants the weapon back, so he breaks into No.27. Things go wrong when Denise spots Ravi snooping out.
When Denise tips off Jack, he realises why Ravi was there and decides to confront him.
Elsewhere, Howie continues to struggle with his guilt over Patrick’s attack and the stolen money.

Many of the locals are still busy at The Vic, where Patrick and Yolande’s wedding reception is taking place.
The situation goes from bad to worse when they realise exactly who has been shot – and that their life is now hanging in the balance.
