EDITORIAL, Tuesday 5th August 2025
No! Patrick Trueman has been left for dead by Oscar Branning and the whole world just stopped. We can’t leave it there!
Don’t panic, it’s only 24 hours… but something tells us this is just the start of Oscar‘s (and the poor Fox-Truemans) woes…
Of course, things like this don’t stay quiet for long in Walford, and before long Lauren is doing her best Miss Marple impression to figure out what her little brother is hiding! But the question then becomes what does she do? Is blood thicker than water? In the Branning family?
Then there’s poor Stacey, who’s online past rears it’s ugly truth again when footage of her is leaked online. Now who would have done such a thing? Stacey‘s got her fingers pointed in Joel‘s direction this week… and she’s not the only one!
As Joel is accused of one thing, he’s confronted by another, as he discovers he’s going to be a dad! Of course, things aren’t that simple, as Avani is having second thoughts and is talking to Eve about a termination! Suki is going to go nuts! Oh, and then Ravi discovers his daughter is pregnant too! Run, Joel, run…
All this and another returning face! It seems, once more according to a tabloid report, actor Ricky Champ is making a brief comeback as Stuart Highway! Stuart left with wife Rainie and baby Roland back in 2022, so does brother Callum bring him back to the Square? Or could it be something else…?

Monday 11th August 2025

Avani struggles with morning sickness and feels self-conscious at a hot tub party that Amy has organised. She reaches for a drink, but there’s a row when Suki and Eve arrive. As a result, Avani rushes off.
It’s Eve who seeks Avani out and they have a heart-to-heart over the teen’s true feelings. Eve supports Avani when she reveals that she wants a termination.
Meanwhile, Stacey discovers that someone has leaked her SecretCam pictures and videos online. She believes that Joel is to blame and angrily confronts him. Joel gives Ross his laptop to check and convinces his dad that he’s not to blame. Still firm in her theory, Stacey reports Joel to the police.
Elsewhere, Ravi learns that he has serious tax issues and warns Harry and Okie to up their game with their illegal activities.
Also today, Patrick struggles with anxiety after being attacked last week, while Honey decides to apply for Mr Lister’s job.

Avani and Eve make plans to go to a clinic together. They don’t tell Suki, who’s suspicious over what might be going on.
Stacey persuades Suki to be honest with Ravi and Priya, so she heads home to tell them the truth about Avani’s pregnancy.
Meanwhile, George is suspicious over Okie buying Kojo an expensive watch. Wary of meddling in his brother’s life, George is pleased when Elaine promises to look into the situation. Elaine goes to see Kojo at The Arches, but is surrounded by threatening lads and thrown to the ground.
Elsewhere, Cindy and Elaine discover that George is seeing Nicola.
Also today, Joel remains confident despite the police attention, while Howie feels bad over Patrick’s ongoing anxiety after the attack.

Suki faces Priya and Ravi’s fury following Avani’s secret pregnancy and termination.
When Joel finds out what’s happened, he’s angry that he wasn’t consulted.
Meanwhile, Okie arrives and chases the gang off from targeting Kojo and Elaine. The pair inform George and Harry that Okie saved them. Before long, Kojo trusts Okie with the key to his flat.
Elsewhere, the police update Stacey on the outcome of their investigation.
Also today, Gina and Harry go on a date.

Joel confronts Avani and even tries to provoke Ravi, but Priya urges her ex to stay calm. When Joel next sees Avani, he berates her – which forces Vicki to step in and drag him home.
Vicki confronts Joel over his terrible behaviour but is shocked by his response.
Meanwhile, Honey and Jack both receive job news.
