Claudette Hubbard’s time in Walford was nothing short of dramatic. Her rivalry with Kim Fox reached new heights at Pearl’s first birthday party, where Claudette punctured a bouncy castle in retaliation for Kim’s attention-grabbing antics. Later, Claudette faced blackmail from Gavin Sullivan, who threatened to reveal a dark secret from her past. When she couldn’t get money from Les or Vincent, she tried to pay Gavin off with sex, but he insulted her and demanded to know how she killed Henry. Claudette struck Gavin with a candelabra, and when Vincent arrived, her lies unravelled, revealing she had killed Henry. Vincent, enraged, choked Claudette until Patrick Trueman intervened. Claudette fell down the basement stairs during a struggle and was presumed dead, but she later resurfaced in a hospital.

Vincent and Patrick were shocked to learn Claudette was alive. When Vincent confronted her, Donna Yates, Claudette’s foster daughter, refused to believe Claudette’s guilt until Vincent revealed she had also killed Fatboy. Donna, devastated by the lies, asked both Claudette and Vincent to leave. Claudette insisted Henry’s death was an accident and threatened to expose Vincent if Patrick called the police. Ultimately, Vincent told Claudette to leave Walford for good, and she said a private goodbye to Pearl.

Claudette’s presence lingered as she secretly watched Donna accept an award on her behalf at the Pride of Walford Awards. She tried to visit Donna in Bridge Street Market but was deterred by Peggy Mitchell’s scowl. Claudette supported Les and Pam Coker after their grandson Paul’s death and learned of Babe Smith’s blackmail over Les’s cross-dressing. Claudette threatened Babe, but when Babe was attacked, Claudette’s relationship with Patrick ended due to mistrust. Claudette exposed Babe’s blackmail to Linda and Mick Carter, and the real culprit, Abi Branning, was revealed.

Claudette briefly reconciled with Patrick, but jealousy over his closeness with Dot Branning led to a public breakup. Enraged, she asked Vincent to “take care” of Patrick, but he and Donna convinced her to leave Walford to clear her head. On her way out, Claudette told Patrick he was never good enough for her, but Patrick retorted that Claudette didn’t think she was good enough for anyone. Claudette’s departure marked the end of a tumultuous chapter in Walford, leaving behind a legacy of secrets, betrayal, and unresolved emotions.
