EDITORIAL, Tuesday 19th November 2024
We’ve never seen Elaine Peacock so angry – for a minute there we thought the Minute Mart had run out of luxury hairspray – but for once it’s seemingly justified! The enigmatic drag queen Drew Peacock opened up a Pandora’s Box of family secrets as it turned out her long-passed husband John had another relationship for the last ten years of his life: him.
Cue self-pity for Linda and the scene set for a dramatic heart-to-heart. Also, Ruby‘s home – and she’s already lied about giving her and Martin‘s son up for adoption! But why is he in hospital? Could there be tragedy ahead?
In Archive news, the past residents section is now complete – all regulars from 1985 to present are accounted for – and to celebrate even more, we’re revamping The Year Was… pages to spruce the place up a bit – can’t let the Archive get dusty after all, and we started at the very beginning, which you can check out here!
And, finally, next week’s spoilers. There’s a wedding coming as the Knight-Carter families prepare to merge. But considering THAT funeral filming and Linda‘s drinking accelerating to a deadly finish line, perhaps there’s epic tragedy ahead…

On the eve of Elaine and George’s wedding, Elaine continues to plot against her fiancé by asking Cindy to set up a honey trap to see whether George can be swayed. Despite her reservations, Cindy agrees.
Later, Cindy takes a trip down memory lane with George and moves in for a kiss. Will he respond?
Before long, Cindy betrays Elaine by revealing her honey trap plan to George. A shocked George returns to The Vic to seek answers.
Meanwhile, Penny intervenes in the latest argument between Lauren and Peter. Lauren explains about her pregnancy, which Penny agrees to keep secret.
Elsewhere, Ravi humiliates Denzel when the teenager asks for a job, but he changes his mind after pressure from Kim.
Also today, Stacey clashes with Martin over the way he’s approaching the situation with Ruby.
Tuesday 26th November 2024

Elaine and George’s wedding day arrives. The couple are supported by their families, but it’s unclear whether they’ll agree to go ahead with the ceremony in the wake of recent events.
Later, Kojo spots Cindy and Junior together. Cindy wants Kojo to keep quiet about what he saw, but things get tense as she follows him through the Square. The situation leads to a struggle, with serious consequences.
Meanwhile, Lauren hides the true extent of her struggles from Peter and blames morning sickness.
Lauren bonds with Amy, who’s also struggling, so they unite for a movie night at No.27.

Cindy is fearful after recent events and Lauren calls 999 after seeing what has happened to Kojo. Cindy protests her innocence, sparking a row with Lauren.
Later, the Knight family rush off to hospital to be there for Kojo. Cindy is also worried and later lies to Ian about her whereabouts, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Lauren. Cindy is shocked when Lauren vows to find out the truth about what she’s hiding.
Meanwhile, the other ladies tease Denise over Jack and Ravi during the party at The Vic. It’s clear that Denise has feelings for both men. Jack is jealous when he spots Denise talking to Ravi, but the tables turn on Denise when Priya tries to make a move on Jack.
Elsewhere, Jean warns Kathy to stay out of her relationship.
Also today, Stacey is greeted by an emotional Ruby at No.31.
Finally, Harvey questions the legitimacy of Jean’s financial advisors, which irritates her.

Cindy panics about the consequences of her actions and she avoids taking any calls from Lauren and Junior.
When Lauren gets an opportunity to confront Cindy in the Square, a manipulative Cindy protests her innocence. Later, Cindy visits the hospital to see Junior.
Meanwhile, Peter continues to argue with Lauren and confides in Anna over the situation. Later, Peter confronts Lauren by asking whether she’s drinking.
Elsewhere, Kim tries to play matchmaker between Ravi and Denise. Later, Nicola makes a point of introducing herself to Ravi after the previous incident between him and Barney.
Also today, Kathy backs up Harvey by suggesting that Jean needs to make sure her pension advisors are legitimate.
