Tiffany Dawn Mitchell (née Raymond) burst onto the scene in January 1995 to visit her friend Bianca Jackson. Almost immediately, she snagged a job as a barmaid at The Queen Victoria pub. Sparks flew between Tiffany and landlord Grant Mitchell, leading to a passionate fling. The drama escalated when Tiffany revealed her traumatic past – her father Terry caused her to miscarry after she became pregnant at 14. Comforted by Grant, the two found solace in each other once more, though they agreed to keep things platonic thereafter.

Tiffany’s love life took another twist when she started dating Tony Hills. They moved in together, and everything seemed rosy until she discovered she was pregnant. Although there was a chance Grant was the father, Tiffany chose to claim the baby was Tony’s. Her world turned upside down when she caught Tony kissing her brother, Simon Raymond, exposing his bisexuality and secret affair with Simon. Distraught, Tiffany told Grant he was the father, and they quickly wed in Paris. However, living with Grant proved challenging. He became increasingly controlling, especially when Tiffany defied his rules by having a cocktail. Their tumultuous relationship saw Grant throw Tiffany out, allowing him to pursue an affair with Lorraine Wicks.

Despite the chaos, Tiffany gave birth to Courtney Mitchell in March 1997, and a paternity test confirmed Grant as the father. They reconciled, renewing their vows and bonding during a romantic trip to Paris. But their happiness was short-lived. By 1998, arguments flared again, leading to Tiffany moving in with her mother, Louise Raymond. Grant’s affair with Louise further strained their relationship, and after overhearing them discussing their tryst, a devastated Tiffany confronted Grant. In a tragic accident, she fell down the stairs, resulting in a coma. Beppe di Marco convinced her to falsely accuse Grant of pushing her, leading to his arrest.

Tiffany planned to flee to Spain with Courtney on New Year’s Eve 1998, but after disowning her mother and breaking up with Beppe, she wrote a confession exonerating Grant. She never got the chance to leave – Grant snatched Courtney, and in her desperate pursuit, Tiffany was struck by a car driven by Frank Butcher, dying at the scene.
