Frankie Pierre sauntered into Walford in June 1996 with the sultry vibes of a soul singer in Mick McFarlane’s band. Almost immediately, she set her sights on café worker Alan Jackson, completely undeterred by his marriage to Carol Jackson. Frankie was relentless in her pursuit, moving to Albert Square, sharing a house with Huw Edwards and Lenny Wallace, and landing a job at the café to stay close to Alan. Despite Alan resisting her advances, Frankie didn’t give up; she began targeting Carol, stirring up jealousy and causing rifts in the Jackson household. After a series of manipulations, Alan succumbed to her charms and their affair began. Frankie made sure Carol found out, leading to Alan moving in with her, devastating his family.
However, Frankie’s interest in Alan waned quickly. Days after Alan left his family, she ended their relationship, claiming it had become too intense. Alan, stunned and desperate to change her mind, discovered that Frankie had a pattern of breaking up marriages and then losing interest. According to her friend Mick, Frankie’s devious behaviour stemmed from a deprived childhood and a desperate need for love. Alan, ever sympathetic, was willing to help Frankie through her psychological issues, but she had already moved on to a new target: Tony Hills.
Despite Tony being in a homosexual relationship, Frankie seduced him after a night of heavy drinking. Desperate to keep their tryst a secret, Tony was blackmailed by Frankie, who threatened to out him and reveal their affair to his boyfriend, Simon Raymond. Tony refused to give in, leading Frankie to face further rejections from Sanjay Kapoor and neighbour Ian Beale, who branded her a “scrubber” with “no class.” Feeling dejected, Frankie sought solace from evangelist Alistair Matthews, misinterpreting his interest in her spiritual welfare as romantic. After repeated failed seduction attempts, she started rumours about their relationship to make Alan jealous, leading Alistair to publicly expose her lies.
Frankie’s final days in Walford were marked by humiliation and isolation. When Alan shunned her, realizing her true nature, Frankie turned violent, only to be dragged away by Mick. Eventually, she moved away from Walford, and Mick later mentioned she had quit their band.
