Sasha Perkins made quite the entrance in Albert Square, initially appearing in 2003 as Adi Ferreira’s escort friend. Adi hired her to pose as his girlfriend at a family wedding to impress his father, Dan Ferreira – a plan that, of course, brought its own share of drama. But Sasha didn’t just play the part; she ended up becoming part of the family scene in a big way.

By 2004, Sasha and Adi had started a genuine relationship, and she moved in with him and the rest of the Ferreira clan, bringing along her pet snake, Lionel. It’s not every day that a snake makes itself at home in Walford, and Lionel certainly added an extra twist to the already lively household. Sasha also joined the family business, the mini-cab firm Toucan Cars, a name inspired by her quirky toucan slippers.

However, by 2005, things took a turn. Sasha realized that Adi wasn’t quite the right match for her after all. This revelation led to a series of impulsive decisions, starting with a one-night stand with Danny Moon. As if one scandalous fling wasn’t enough, she followed it up with another one-night stand, this time with Billy Mitchell. It wasn’t long after these escapades that Sasha decided it was time to leave Walford, making her exit as memorable as her arrival.
