Well, what do you reckon to Nicola then? Breath of fresh air isn’t she? She makes Ronnie (RIP) look like a pussycat – was she going to kiss Jack or kill him? She reminds us of the old Shirley Carter charm, so Phil had better watch out! After all, if Teddy can make eyes at his ex, so can Phil…
Meanwhile, the Past Residents page has been seeing loads of updates lately, and some of them have been legends: Originals Angie Watts and Ali and Sue Osman have been added this week as we celebrate 1985!

Sharon finally tells Martin the truth about Ruby giving birth to his son. Martin shares the revelation with Stacey, who wonders whether it’s true. Sharon adds further proof by producing a birth certificate, much to Martin’s shock. Martin tries to convince Sharon to give him Ruby’s address. Later, Ruby arrives and accuses him of stealing from her.
Meanwhile, it’s the day of George and Elaine’s stag and hen nights. George’s celebration at the Boxing Den leads to tensions as Junior and Ian get into a war of words over Cindy.
At The Vic, Johnny proudly announces the arrival of the night’s entertainment for the hens. His surprise turns out to be a drag queen, which leaves Elaine stunned – but why?
Elsewhere, Lauren struggles with pain. When she admits that she’s not coping, she books a doctors appointment.

Ruby accuses Martin of breaking into her home, but Sharon helps to set the record straight. Martin quizzes Ruby over Sharon’s recent revelations and she confirms that they do have a son. Ruby clashes with Stacey and soon drops another bombshell. What else has she been hiding?
Meanwhile, Elaine refuses to be drawn when Linda and Johnny question her on her strange reaction to the drag queen. When Linda continues to press the issue, Elaine finally tells Linda the truth.
Elsewhere, Lauren is disappointed when the doctor refuses to give her another prescription, as she needs to reduce her pain medication. Anna hears more about Lauren’s most recent symptoms and suggests that she might be pregnant. Lauren does a test, which turns out to be positive.
Also today, George speaks to Junior about his strange row with Ian over Cindy.

Martin confronts Ruby again and demands further answers.
Meanwhile, Elaine is given pause for thought and speaks to Johnny about her upcoming marriage. She asks Johnny to help her draw up a pre-nuptial agreement.
Elsewhere, Jean receives a call from an investment company, which encourages her to make more of her money. She’s intrigued by their offer, but will she come on board?
Also today, Lauren gets a shock.

Johnny makes the preparations for Elaine’s prenup. Later, George surprises Elaine with a present and tells her how much he’s looking forward to the wedding. However, he’s shocked when Elaine drops the bombshell that she wants a prenup.
Meanwhile, Stacey promises to support Martin as he remains at odds with Ruby.
Elsewhere, Mr Lister vows to help the traders fight against the plans to close Bridge Street market. Honey is delighted and hugs him.
Also today, Cindy rebukes Junior for his recent row with Ian and warns him to stop playing games.
Finally, Jean makes a decision about her investment.
