Leon Small was a hit with the ladies and a force to be reckoned with in the boxing ring. His charm and good looks made him popular, but his short fuse and authority issues often landed him in hot water. Leon’s life was marked by tragedy from a young age, losing his mother in a car crash that left him responsible for his alcoholic father, Malcolm. Despite these challenges, Leon’s story in Albert Square was anything but dull.

Leon arrived at Walford High School as a new student, quickly catching the eye of Lucy Beale. Their relationship began with a chaotic party at 89b George Street, where a game of Twister led to a passionate encounter. However, their romance was complicated by the arrival of Zsa Zsa Carter and a series of misunderstandings. Leon’s protective nature came to the fore when he defended Zsa Zsa from her stepfather, Andy, and their bond grew stronger, leading to a steamy encounter in a cemetery.

As Leon’s relationship with Zsa Zsa progressed, he found himself entangled in a web of drama. He performed as a stripper at Bianca Jackson’s hen party, only to be caught in bed with Lucy by Zainab Masood. Lucy’s pregnancy scare and subsequent abortion added to the tension, and Leon’s jealousy over Zsa Zsa’s secret admirer, “The Blue Masquerader,” further strained their relationship. Despite his best efforts, Leon’s attempts to win back Zsa Zsa ultimately failed.

Leon faced numerous challenges, from being evicted by Ian Beale to discovering the body of Owen Turner buried in Albert Square. His traumatic past resurfaced, and he confided in Zsa Zsa about the car crash that killed his mother. Despite failing most of his GCSE exams, Leon’s resilience shone through. He continued to navigate the complexities of life in Walford, forming a close bond with Fatboy and flirting with Glenda Mitchell.

In the end, Leon’s journey took him to France, where he hoped to reconcile with Zsa Zsa.
