Adam White was the kind of character who could stir up trouble just by walking into a room. From the moment he appeared in Walford, it was clear he had a knack for finding himself in the middle of chaos. His first notable act was giving Derek Branning a beating with a group of men, all in an attempt to track down Max Branning. Max had married Adam’s brother Carl’s girlfriend, Kirsty Bell, and Adam wasn’t about to let that slide.

In February 2013, things got even more heated. Max went to Adam’s house to find Kirsty, only to discover her with a bruise on her neck. Realising Adam was the culprit, Max punched him. But Adam, never one to back down, locked Max inside the house and, with another man, gave him a beating. It was a classic EastEnders showdown, full of drama and fists flying.

By May, Adam was back to his old tricks, calling Kirsty as Carl’s release from prison loomed. Kirsty, worried about being tracked down, saw Max and his brother Jack Branning confront Adam once more. Adam punched Max, but Jack quickly threw him to the ground, ordering him to stop contacting Kirsty. It seemed Adam just couldn’t stay out of trouble.

August saw Adam attacking Kirsty again, this time demanding money. Carl intervened, not knowing Carl would be there. Carl blamed Adam for Kirsty marrying Max and their mother Nora White being in a care home. Adam explained he owed money to someone, leading to a night out at the R&R nightclub. Carl planned to sell drugs, but they were confronted by Max and club owner Phil Mitchell. Carl disowned Adam, who then left in disgrace.

Adam’s return in March 2014 brought even more drama. Searching for Carl, who had been murdered by Ronnie Mitchell, Adam and his mother Nora confronted Ronnie. Ronnie lied about her identity, but Adam knew she was lying thanks to a photo Carl had sent him. Adam later kidnapped Lexi Pearce, displeasing his mother. Phil and Ronnie tracked them down, demanding Lexi back. When the Mitchells hesitated to explain Carl’s fate, Adam lost his patience. Phil warned him off harming Lexi and took her back. Nora begged for answers, and Ronnie admitted to killing Carl, leaving both Nora and Adam in shock.

Ronnie and Phil returned Lexi to her mother, Lola Pearce, who was unaware of the drama. Phil told Ronnie to deal with Adam and Nora or he would. Ronnie then got Market Inspector Aleks Shirovs to attack Adam, leaving him in the hospital. Ronnie warned both Nora and Adam off hassling the Mitchells further, threatening more violence. Adam and Nora haven’t been seen since.
