Firefighter Tosh first re-appeared in Tina’s life after a heated argument with her sister, Shirley Carter. Tina Carter, ever the romantic, decided to give love another shot and brought Tosh to a family dinner. It didn’t take long for sparks to fly – literally and figuratively. Tosh clashed with Shirley, who was well aware of Tosh’s violent past with Tina. But Tosh also managed to charm Linda Carter, Tina’s sister-in-law, proving she wasn’t all bad. Shirley, determined to keep Tosh away from Tina, even got soaked by a fire hose in a hilarious showdown at the fire station. Brave move Tosh, brave move!

Their relationship was anything but smooth sailing. Tosh’s insecurities flared up, especially when Tina spent time with Roxy Mitchell. One memorable night, Tosh and Tina planned a night out, but Tina got caught up with Sonia Fowler. Tosh’s temper got the best of her, leading to a public shouting match in The Queen Vic. Despite the drama, they decided to move in together with Aleks Shirovs and Jake Stone. But Tosh’s jealousy reared its head again when she overheard Sonia and Bianca Butcher discussing a kiss with Tina. This led to a heated confrontation and a physical altercation, but the couple eventually reconciled and decided to start a family.

The journey to parenthood was rocky. Desperate for IVF funds, Tina turned to dealing drugs, which Tosh discovered. Trust was shaken, but they patched things up and chose a sperm donor. Tosh’s pregnancy brought joy, but it was short-lived as she miscarried. Her suspicions about Alfie Moon’s involvement in an insurance fraud fire added more tension. Tosh’s decision to go to the police, despite Mick Carter’s objections, showed her determination to do what she believed was right.

The final straw came when Tosh, in a drunken moment, agreed to let Dean be the sperm donor without telling Tina. The truth came out at Sharon and Phil’s wedding, leading to another furious row. When Tosh discovered she wasn’t pregnant, her frustration boiled over, resulting in another violent outburst. Paranoia about Tina’s friendship with Sonia led to more accusations and violence. In the end, Tina had enough and told Tosh to take a job in Croydon. Tosh left Walford, but not before admitting that Tina was the best thing that ever happened to her.
