Fi Browning, the sophisticated business consultant with a mysterious past, was hired by Mick Carter to help boost The Queen Vic’s profits, Fi’s polished exterior and sharp business acumen quickly caught everyone’s attention. But as with all things in Albert Square, there was more to Fi than met the eye. Beneath her professional demeanour lay a web of secrets and a connection to one of Walford’s most notorious villains.

Unbeknownst to the Carters, she was actually working with Max Branning as part of a revenge plot orchestrated by her father. ‘Fi’ was short for Sophie and ‘Browning’ was a fabrication. Her father’s name was Brown. James Willmott-Brown. Talk about family drama! Despite her deceptive ways, Fi’s charm and intelligence made her a formidable presence in the Square.

Mick Carter’s partnership with Fi was fraught with underlying tension, and at one point, Fi even tried to kiss Mick. However, Mick, ever the loyal husband, turned her down, proving that he’s a “one-woman man.” This rejection didn’t deter Fi, though, and she continued to play a pivotal role in the Carters’ lives, all while keeping her true intentions hidden.

When the truth about her father’s plans came to light, Fi found herself at a crossroads. Choosing to distance herself from her family’s toxic influence, she left Walford and her father behind – probably her most sensible move.
