Danny Mitchell’s arrival was unexpected – he turned up unannounced at his mother’s doorstep and quickly made his presence felt in the Square. With a family as complicated as the Mitchells, Danny’s life was destined to be anything but dull.

From the get-go, Danny’s relationship with his sisters was a rollercoaster. He arrived just after the murder of their father, Archie Mitchell, claiming to be another one of Archie’s offspring. This revelation was met with mixed emotions, but Danny soon found a place behind the bar at The Queen Vic, where he quickly became a familiar face. His flirtation with Amira Masood added a touch of scandal, especially when her husband, Syed, found out. But in true Mitchell fashion, Danny managed to talk his way out of trouble – most of the time.

His constant scheming had a knack for getting Danny into sticky situations. Whether it was his dodgy dealings or his attempts to win over his sisters, Danny always seemed to be at the centre of the chaos. His relationship with his mother, Glenda, was equally tumultuous, with the two often clashing over his reckless behaviour. Yet, despite their differences, there was an undeniable bond between them, proving that family ties run deep in the Mitchell clan.

In 2016, he returned and was involved in a plot to con his own family, showing that old habits die hard. His schemes eventually caught up with him, leading to a brutal confrontation with Jack Branning. Beaten and bruised, Danny decided it was time to leave Walford for good.
