Abi Branning, the youngest daughter of Max and Tanya Branning, was a sweet and innocent girl when she first arrived in Walford. But as we all know, life in Albert Square has a way of toughening you up. Abi’s early years were filled with typical teenage drama, but things took a darker turn when her family’s secrets started to unravel. From her dad’s numerous affairs to her sister Lauren’s rebellious streak, Abi had her hands full trying to keep the Branning family together.

As Abi grew older, she found herself entangled in some of the Square’s most scandalous storylines. Remember her ill-fated romance with Ben Mitchell? Abi went to great lengths to keep him by her side, even faking a pregnancy at one point. Talk about commitment! But it wasn’t just Ben who kept Abi on her toes. Her relationship with Jay Brown was a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with love, heartbreak, and a fair share of drama. Despite their ups and downs, Jay was one of the few people who truly understood Abi.

Abi’s life took a tragic turn when she got involved with Steven Beale, her sister Lauren’s fiancé. Their affair was the talk of the Square, and things only got more complicated when Abi discovered she was pregnant. The drama reached its peak when Abi and Lauren fell from the roof of The Queen Vic, leading to Abi’s premature labour. Sadly, Abi was declared brainstem dead, and her life support was turned off, leaving the residents of Walford to mourn the loss of one of their own.
