Katy Lewis arrived in Walford looking for her daughter Frankie, but brought a storm of secrets and a dark past that would shake the foundations of the Carter family. As the former care worker of Mick and Tina Carter, Katy’s arrival was anything but a happy reunion. Her connection to Mick was revealed through her daughter, Frankie Lewis, who dropped the bombshell that Mick was her father, a result of Katy’s abuse when Mick was just 12 years old.

Katy’s manipulative nature quickly became apparent as she tried to convince Mick that his memories of abuse were false. She twisted the truth and played the victim in order to get him to see her side. Despite her attempts to gaslight Mick, he eventually confronted the painful reality of his past, confronting her.

Frankie struggled to reconcile her love for her mother with the horrific truth about her actions. Katy’s presence also stirred up old memories for Tina Carter, who had her own traumatic experiences with Katy as a child. Her downfall came when Mick, with the support of his family and friends, decided to take a stand against her. The community rallied around Mick, leading to Katy’s arrest and eventual imprisonment for her crimes.
