A hard worker and a doting mother, there is nothing more important to Karen Taylor than her children, and rightly so! They’re a close knit clan and no matter what Keanu, Keegan, Bernie, Chatham or Riley did, she was always fair, but firm when it came to discipline.

Sure, she rubbed some people up the wrong way: she spoke as she found things and was always up for a quick freebie if there was one going. She never quite found true love, but that’s because her true love was her children, and Mitch came closest than anyone else to being her soulmate.

But Chantelle was murdered by Gray. And Keanu was murdered just days after Karen had left the Square (with cash stolen from Phil) for a sunnier climate in Spain.

But the death of her boy couldn’t keep her away – she risked the wrath of Phil to discover who had killed Keanu – even talking to twisted Dean Wicks.
