Jake Moon has a history of working for the wrong kind of men. As Johnny Allen’s main gopher, he watched Andy Hunter get pushed off a fly over! He squirreled his brother Danny away from Johnny, but it failed and it was Jake that ended Danny’s life with a gunshot.

But Johnny looked after Jake when his family didn’t. Apart from his Nana Moon, Jake didn’t seem to be anything like the rest of his clan, preferring to stay in the shadows. But his love for Chrissie Watts was the real deal and he agreed to help her escape Walford. Chrissie was caught and Jake was devastated. After cutting ties with Ruby Allen and after Johnny failed to communicate his orders while dying, Jake was escorted off the Square in the dead of night by two heavies, hitmen for Johnny and was never seen again.

Until 2024 that is when, a very much alive, Jake Moon drove his posh car onto Albert Square with his recently released beloved Chrissie by his side. He’d waited 19 years for her, and was clearly doing well for himself.

In 2025, Chrissie left Jake, obsessed with Zoe and their past. Jake, needing answers, visited Walford, surprising Alfie with his survival and luring Chrissie to Walford. When Jake and Chrissie were reunited, despite their betrayals and distrust, the pair got engaged and fled the Square for pasters new – in time to avoid the police of course!
