Fostered by the Ahmeds as a child, Adam Bateman had done well for himself, becoming a top-notch dentist. When he treated Honey Mitchell, she was smitten and dinner led to a date, and then on to more. Soon, they were living together on the Square, living the dream life.

But he was a creep behind closed doors. He would make comments about Honey’s appearance, who developed an eating disorder. And, even though he claimed to love her like a sister, he took his relationship with Habiba Ahmed further and had an affair.

He was caught out in the end, first by Iqra and then by Honey. Humiliated, she threw him out of their flat, where he hit a bin on his way down – hopefully it knocked some of his perfect teeth out as he left Walford in disgrace!
