Since first being swept away from her husband and into Patrick’s loving arms, Yolande has been a patient and comforting presence for all in her path. She’s become a surrogate mum, sister and gran to many on the Square and is quite possibly the only person who can curb husband Patrick’s vices.

She’s dedicated to her family, her friends and her faith; Yolande is a devote Christian, always doing her duty for the community church and it’s events. But Paster Gideon Clayton came on strong to Yolande and the consequences of his assault that night still haunt her.

After finding her strength and her faith in her commitment to God, Yolande picked herself up after Clayton committed suicide and set herself up to become a confidant to many more on the Square…
