Poor Teddy, we barely knew you… Arriving in 2024 as a surprise guest of Billy Mitchell’s father Stevie, it soon transpired that Stevie had an entirely different family – that Billy never knew of. When Teddy stepped up as his brother, he brought his boys Harry and Barney to the Square and, despite some initial issues with the Panesars and cousin Phil over the lovely Sharon, Teddy decided to stay in Walford with his new found family.

Alas, his ex-wife Nicola followed and, despite being divorced and over with, Teddy was ferociously protective of his family unit – even more so when it turned out that (a) Nicola was a murderer and (b) that Barney wasn’t even his son, but Zack Hudson’s.

But when Harry was locked up by Okie Okyere alongside mate Kojo, Harry was forced to kill Okie in self-defence. Teddy took the wrap for the murder – receiving life imprisonment, with twenty years before parole.
