Kojo Asare has only recently arrived in Albert Square to live with long-lost brother George, and as soon as he arrived, we knew that George would have lots of questions about his childhood, which only Kojo and their other brother Kobina could answer.

Kojo grew up in Ghana and has a strong connection to his cultural roots. His arrival in Walford is driven by a desire to reconnect with George, and to uncover the truth about their family’s past. Kojo’s short time on the Square has already led to some intense moments, including his newfound family’s difficulties in coping with his severe autism.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Kojo’s resilience and positive outlook shine through. He has a sharp intellect and a quick wit, often surprising other residents with his insights. His interactions with other characters on the Square will be interesting to see, as he navigates the complexities of life in Walford.
