Jay Brown came to the Square a little orphan boy and has grown into a key member of the Walford community, coming a long way from the teen tearaway that arrived all those years ago.

He lost his father Jase Dyer to horrendous circumstances and would have faced a childhood in the care system had it not been for Billy Mitchell, who took him and, despite all the odds stacked against him, actually managed to raise the lad. The rest of the Mitchells took him in as one of their own, and he was never far from either the family drama, or his sweetheart Lola. When they reunited after years apart it was like fate calling them home.

But tragedy struck and Lola passed away in 2023. Jay raised her daughter Lexi with help from best mate Callum, doing his best to face each day without the love of his life and his brother Ben by his side.
