George Knight used to be a Champion boxer known as the Nightmare. But as a child, Kwame Asare would never know where he was from. 

Raised by Eddie and Gloria Knight when his mother had to return home to Ghana, the Knights decided not to give the child back and kept him to themselves. What’s worse, he even witnessed Eddie beat a man to death – George’s own father!

We don’t know much more, only that his family in Ghana never stopped looking for him. He moved abroad, settling in Marbella where he met the love of his life Rose and they had two lovely daughters together. When he fell for Elaine Peacock whilst she was on holiday, it was like something out of Casablanca and the pair set course for Walford, buying the Queen Vic and supporting Linda, grieving Mick.

Of course, this is Walford, so nothing is that simple! His wife Rose, who had long walked out on her family, turned out to be none other than Cindy Beale, who was now back on the Square herself, living ten feet away!

Now with contact with his birth family and younger brother Kojo now at home in the Vic, George and Elaine are looking forward to life as Mr and Mrs.

I mean it’s Walford. Nothing could possibly go wrong, could it?
