As the secret son of Patrick Trueman and Sheree Trueman, Isaac’s arrival in Walford was anything but ordinary. The shocking truth about his parentage, which Isaac hadn’t been aware of, threw the entire Trueman clan for a momentary loop!

Isaac’s journey in Albert Square was marked by his struggle to reconcile his past with his present, all while trying to build a future in a community that was both welcoming and challenging. He had been diagnosed with schizophrenia before arriving on the Square, and he didn’t help his condition, especially when he didn’t take his medication – but Isaac’s determination to manage his illness and lead a fulfilling life was both inspiring and heart-wrenching. His relationship with his family, particularly his father Patrick, was tested and he even faced losing his teaching career over keeping it a secret.

He did, for a time, forge a relationship with Lola Pearce, but eventually, with mum Sheree now back in Trinidad, Isaac left Lola behind and joined his mum abroad.
