Habiba Ahmed brought with her a mix of charm, mischief, and a knack for stirring the pot. As the vivacious sister of Iqra Ahmed, Habiba was marked by their determination to take over their uncle Masood’s restaurant, Walford East. Little did they know, Masood had plans to jet off to Australia, leaving the sisters to navigate the culinary chaos on their own.

Not one for a quiet life, she found herself entangled in a secret affair with Adam Bateman, a former foster child of her grandparents. Adam, ever the charmer, promised to leave his girlfriend Honey Mitchell for Habiba, but his promises were as empty as a dentist’s fan convention. The affair, filled with clandestine meetings and whispered secrets, eventually came to light, causing quite the scandal in Walford as Honey wreaked her vengeance.

She eventually found true love, beginning a relationship with Jags Panesar. Their romance was a delightful mix of sweetness and cultural tension, as Habiba, a Muslim, and Jags, a Sikh, navigated their families’ expectations. The relationship faced a major hurdle when Jags was falsely imprisoned, thanks to his mother Suki’s machinations. Habiba’s loyalty and love for Jags shone through as she stood by him, even when the odds were stacked against them.

Unable to cope with the fallout from Jags’ imprisonment, and about to give birth to his baby, she decided to leave the Square – to get far away from the Panesars, who had treated her appallingly! She gave birth to son, Tyrion, not long after.
